How much power does a room need?
As a rough guide, allow 100/110 W per square metre. The power you need depends on insulation, ceiling height, openings, orientation, outdoor temperature and use. This guide is indicative.

Panel heaters for spaces without central heating
For electric heating in a house without central heating, a panel heater is a practical choice. It is one of the electric heating appliances.
Silent operation
The NOBO, Atlantic and GLAMOX panel heaters run silently: no fan and no moving parts, they heat by natural air circulation, and the heating element does not crackle when it heats up or cools down.
Mounting
The Atlantic F119 DESIGN ERP includes a floor base in the box, while the wall bracket is sold separately. The Atlantic F120 WiFi Connect comes with wall brackets and feet in the box. The Nobo NTL4R WiFi mounts on the wall with the bracket supplied with the heater.
For the Nobo NTL4T there is an optional floor base with castors, sold separately.
Tonon Evolution towel rails

Does the Nobo NTL4T have a timer?
The Nobo NTL4T has the NCU 2Te thermostat, with a timer: for each day, one of nine ready 24-hour programmes.
Is a panel heater silent?
Yes, the NOBO, Atlantic and GLAMOX panel heaters run silently, without a fan. The heating element does not crackle when it heats up or cools down.
Which panel heater suits a small room and which a large one?
For small rooms there is the Glamox H40 Compact, from 750 to 2,400 W. For larger rooms, the Atlantic F119 DESIGN ERP and the Atlantic F120 WiFi Connect reach up to 2,500 W.
If you want control from your phone, look at the Nobo NTL4R WiFi or the Atlantic F120 WiFi Connect. The weekly schedule of the Nobo NTL4R WiFi works only with the Capa Connect app. The Atlantic F120 WiFi Connect sets the temperature from 12 to 28 °C in manual mode. The Atlantic F120 WiFi Connect has no Comfort or Eco modes.
Does the Glamox H40 Compact have a WiFi thermostat?
Yes, the Glamox H40 Compact is sold with a WT3 WiFi thermostat and is controlled with the Glamox app. The wall bracket comes in the box; the floor stand (Floor stand P) is sold separately.
Which panel heaters have WiFi?
The Nobo NTL4R WiFi, the Atlantic F120 WiFi Connect and the Glamox H40 Compact have WiFi. The Nobo NTL4R WiFi is controlled with the Capa Connect app (iOS and Android), the Atlantic F120 WiFi Connect with the Cozytouch app, and the Glamox H40 Compact with the Glamox app. The Nobo NTL4T and the Atlantic F119 DESIGN ERP have no WiFi.
How many square metres does a panel heater heat?
As a rough guide, allow 100/110 W per square metre. For 40 square metres: 40 x 100–110 W = 4,000 to 4,400 W. The guide does not guarantee coverage of the room. None of the heaters on this page exceeds 2,500 W, so for 40 square metres you need more than one.
Panel heater or air conditioner: when should I choose a panel heater?
You choose a panel heater when you need heating for one room or a holiday home, for a few hours or as a supplement to other heating.
Does a panel heater go on the wall or on the floor?
Either, depending on the model. The Mounting section above covers four models: Nobo NTL4R WiFi, Nobo NTL4T, Atlantic F119 DESIGN ERP and Atlantic F120 WiFi Connect.
What warranty do panel heaters and towel rails have?
NOBO, Atlantic and GLAMOX panel heaters have a warranty of 5 years on the unit and 10 years on the aluminium heating element. Tonon towel rails have 2 years, as do the accessories.
